Leeds College of Art Degree Show

My stand was a combination of fabrics and papers, conveying my project 'Safari' as rich array of colours and pattern. My two garments displayed a combination of mark-making, photography and painted motifs.

My fabrics have various densities of pattern, combining different aspects from my key prints into simplified designs. Each design displays a delicacy within the floral photographs and paintings yet combines bold geometric shapes and bright colours.

Dresses for my Final Show

As part of my Final Major Project I created two designs for maxi  dresses. The designs were printed onto Silk Twill and each incorporated my own paintings of flowers and feathers as well as markmaking and my photography.

Safari Complimentary designs

As variation to my fashion fabrics I wanted to create more simplistic designs to incorporate into my collection. Inspired by designers such as Ted Baker and Mattew Williamson I overlayed different photos and paintings within Photoshop to create bold designs with a little more simplicity.

Floral Abstraction

Floral prints inspired by abstraction. This was a second year project influenced by Missoni's fabrics. The combination of pixeled geometric shapes and organic floral motifs creates an interesting contrast. Created in Photoshop, I overlayed my own motifs and used multiply levels to create depth and different textures.
